Mission Statement
The Canadian Golf Teaching Federation, through innovative swing mechanics, and teaching methodology, establishes a national and international standard in training and certification for professional golf teachers.  In addition, the CGTF provides services for its members and promotes the organization and the golf teaching profession.

Organizations history
Founded in 1989, the CGTF is one of 40 member nations that make up the World Golf Teachers Federation.  Each member nation adheres to a set of Federation bylaws set forth to enact a world standard of uniformity and professionalism in the training of teaching professionals.
