Here is more detailed info: Before you dismiss playing this year for whatever reason, keep the following key points in mind: Regardless of your ability, this league will have fun. Sure, we may have a few good players, but, those players are here for fun with our spouses/significant others/friends. Don't let this deter you from playing. If you travel out of town and know you will miss a couple of weeks, we will offer rain checks. All you need to do is give one weeks' notice. Unfortunately, it is limited to missing only twice, but it is better than paying for nothing. Maybe you want to play every other week. You can do this with another team. We want to make the league as user friendly as we can. This league is about fun. The competitive leagues are on Tuesday and Wednesday :) League play will start on Thursday June 16 and run 8 weeks finishing on Thursday August 4. The Couples league is typically played as a two-person team format. Each team will compete in a variety of different formats each week. Past formats include scotch doubles, 2-person scramble, pink ball, one-ball alternate shot, four clubs only, partner swap, pick your score and others. We have a few new twists this year to be sure to turn it up a notch. The formats are designed so that all golfers of all skill levels maximize their enjoyment on the course. Groups are assigned each week and rotated throughout the year so that each couple has a chance to meet and socialize with the entire league. Be prepared to have fun! - WHAT: 9 Hole Couples League - WHO: Couples age 21 and older - WHEN: Thursday evenings; June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, and finishing August 4th with a 6:00pm shotgun start. - DINNER & DRINKS on the patio after play is included for the first and last league nights. Dinner the other weeks are optional and can be paid on a weekly basis. - COST: $388 per couple includes : First and last weeks Dinner w/drink Greens Fees Prize Fund League fee can be split in two payments with the first payment ($194) due at registration and the second payment ($194) due before play on July 1 (Payment plan can only be done thru the Pro Shop and not online as both payments are guaranteed by credit card) *Patron card holders save $20 per card and 62 and over save $32 per player If you have more ideas that would help, please pass those along to: Brad Behnke or Peach Larson
